Archaeological Guided Walk – The Prehistoric Pebblebeds
Join Cressida Whitton from Devon County Historic Environment Team to discover how our ancestors lived on the prehistoric heaths. Join an archaeology guided walk to discover more about Woodbury Castle Iron Age Hillfort and the nearby Bronze Age Barrows.

This activity will start at Woodbury Castle but if Woodbury Castle car park is full, please use the bigger Estuary View Car Park, immediately apposite and cross the road with care.
Suitable for adults and older teenagers.
The walk mostly flat, but there is uneven ground and some steps to ramparts on the walk and will include standing for short periods of time. If you have any queries around accessibility please contact email: [email protected].

Please note there are no toilets or refreshments on the site.
