Join us for a guided evening walk on the heath as dusk falls, in search of the elusive nightjar. Led by our ranger team, you’ll learn about these remarkable summer visitors and, with a bit of luck, hear their distinctive ‘churring’ call and see them in flight.

A relaxed walk through one of East Devon’s special landscapes, perfect for anyone who enjoys wildlife and being out in nature on a summer evening.

This walk is approximately 2km along stony tracks. It will involve standing still and will finish after dark. Insect repellent, warm layers, and a torch are advised.
