Wonderfully Wild Women Workshop – New Mums
You are warmly invited to attend one of our special women’s events at the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve this November, led by Laura Frances Martin of InTheSaltSpace in collaboration with the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust.
Step away from your normal routines and roles, take a little space and time to connect, and explore your relationship with nature. Embrace the beauty of the Heaths, through a series of gentle, accessible and fun creative activities in the company of other women.
What do you love most about the natural world around you? What prevents you from spending time in it? And what changes can we make to help you to enjoy it more?
This workshop has been specifically designed for women who are new mums to understand how their confidence, connection and relationship with nature has changed and evolved and how we can support you to engage with the natural world in the phase of life you are in now.
This event is FREE but booking is essential, to book click here.

For your knowledge and comfort…
To support breast feeding mums, a separate private room is available to breast feed your baby and have a quieter space to anyone to feels they need it at any point during the day.
For mums using formula, there will be access to boiling water but if you need any other support feeding your baby on the day, please contact [email protected] to discuss ways in which we can support you.
Comfortable seating is available throughout the day and during the indoor session and for feeding babies.
During the outdoor session, we will be on the heaths on uneven ground but in areas that have wide grassed paths. The area is unsuitable for normal buggies/pushchairs and more suitable to off-road buggies/pushchairs but we encourage mums to wear slings/baby carriers where possible.
There is space to store your prams and car seats inside safely.
There will be no loud music or noise during the indoor sessions.
There will be a member of staff who is Paediatric First Aid trained present on the day.
There will be staff available on the day to support you in anyway possible, this event will be a calm, friendly, low-pressure environment and you will be surrounded by other mums in the same position as you, who know exactly how you are feeling. We know it can take extra time to get out with a little one, so please take the time you need and feel free to step out as needed. This is a relaxed, baby-friendly event.
This event is organised by the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust which is supported through funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
