Join the South East Devon Wildlife Wardens for a guided nature walk exploring the Pebblebed Heaths. From birdlife to botany, discover how we care for this special landscape and the wildlife it supports. Bring your binoculars for a chance to spot the elusive Dartford Warbler.
This is a free, family-friendly event with interactive activities for children along the route, alongside plenty of fascinating information and insights for adults to enjoy. Please arrive in good time so we can start promptly at 10:00.

Know before you go…
This is a family-friendly event. The route is suitable for all-terrain buggies; however, please note it involves walking across rough, uneven ground and is not suitable for wheelchairs or standard pushchairs.
Dogs on lead are permitted on this walk. However, a similar guided walk will take place on Wednesday 29 July where dogs are not permitted.
Dress for the weather, sturdy footwear recommended.
There are no toilet facilities on site.
This event is organised as part of Heath Week 2026. Heath Week celebrates our heathland heritage with a week of events reflecting the ecology, history and recreational importance of the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve.
