Health And Nature Walk

A guided walk across the beautiful Pebblebed scenery for 2 hours, covering the Hawkerland Valley. We will follow pathways across the heathland but the ground has loose stones underfoot so appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn. Take water and refreshments for a short stop halfway.

Seachange Health and Nature Walks explore the diverse terrain of our local countryside on these bi-weekly volunteer-led Tuesday walks, ranging from approx. 3 to 3.5 miles in length. Meeting points vary to showcase different areas, so check for details.

Seachange walks are provided free of charge however Seachange request all participants to register and complete a disclaimer to take responsibility for fitness to take part in these activities and to let us know in advance if you plan on attending a walk.

Please wear walking shoes and clothes suitable for the weather including a hat for either sun or cold. A stick may also be useful to help navigate certain areas, and we suggest taking water.

The walk is at a moderate pace, stopping at places of interest en-route. Walking experience is not necessary however you need to be fit enough to manage some gradients and sloping areas, stony or muddy pathways, and possible stiles. Walks are suitable for anyone who would like to improve their fitness at the same time as socialising with other walkers.
