Heath Week 2025: Bat Walk

Bat Walk

Join us to find out more about the bats that live and hunt over DWT’s Bystock nature reserve. Having five different habitat types we have lots of different species to discover: we’ll be walking around with bat detectors so that we can both watch and listen to these amazing nocturnal mammals.

This event will include a walk on uneven terrain in the dark lasting approximately 2 hours (not pushchair/wheelchair accessible). Sturdy footwear, warm layers, a torch and insect repellent is advisable.

Sorry no dogs on this walk.
