Join the Otter Valley Association (OVA) for a 5 mile walk from the shelter beside Rockfish Café, Budleigh Salterton promenade. A great opportunity to make good on that resolution about getting more exercise in the New Year! Join walk leader, Jon, for a gentle walk from Budleigh seafront through to East Budleigh for coffee (bring a flask or buy some at the village shop). Then return via Shortwood Common and enjoy panoramic views of the Otter Valley and beyond on our way back to the start. Optional lunch at the Brook Kitchen (organised on the day).

What to bring

• Good shoes/boots for the Devon terrain (often muddy in places!)
• A flask of tea or coffee, or your drink of choice – we always have a refreshment break
• Waterproofs … just in case!
• Any personal medication that you might need (walk leaders carry a first aid kit)
• Your contact details written on an ‘in case of emergency’ card (ask us for a blank card if you need one)
