Wildlife Embroidery
Join the South Devon Stitchers to learn different stitches and embroidery techniques and embroider your own wildlife design! You will be able to chose from a range of heathland animals embroider from pre-designed outlines and create your own Pebblebed Heaths Wildlife Collage.
The South Devon Stitchers will also be displaying their Endangered Species Panels, so come and learn about the species and the embroidery techniques used to create them.
No need to book, this is a free drop-in and have a go event and any age and ability is welcome (younger children can colour in the fabric with crayons so everyone can be included). All materials and equipment is provided.

Toilet facilities and limited refreshments will be available at Model Airfield Car Park for this event.
Dress for the weather, sturdy footwear recommended for uneven terrain.
Dogs on leads welcome.
Tramper and pushchair accessible.
This event is organised as part of Heath Week 2025. Heath Week celebrates our heathland heritage with a week of events reflecting the ecology, history and recreational importance of the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths.
