Heath Week 2025: Nepalese Singing Gong Relaxation

July 27 @ 11:45 am

Nepalese Singing Gong Relaxation

Come and experience this soundscape of Nepalese singing gongs, bowls, chimes and other instruments at this lovely outdoor event.

The gongs produce both sound and vibrations which have a calming effect on the human body.

Our bodies are made up of 70% water, sound waves travel easily through water and therefore throughout our bodies causing the fluid in our cells to vibrate it’s like having an internal massage on a cellular level, because the fluid is vibrating in the cell, if for example that cell was in a muscle and there was tension in that muscle it could help release that tension.

The frequencies of the gongs entrain with our brain waves moving us from the left analytical side of our brains where our stress triggers are over to the more meditative, creative, right side of the brain so helping us to relax more easily. Gongs therefore work on our physical, mental and emotional states.

There are limited spaces for this event so pre-booking is advisable. Contact Sara-Louise 07980522582 or [email protected] to book.
