This event is in partnership with the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust as part of National Nature Reserves (NNR) week. NNR Week celebrates England’s most important places for nature, highlighting the role of NNRs in protecting and enhancing wildlife, habitats, and geology. NNR Week also coincides with Budleigh Gala Week (organised by Budleigh Salterton Lions Club) and provides a great opportunity for the local community and visitors to Budleigh Salterton to have fun and raise money for local charities.
The Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust are looking forward to connecting anyone from Budleigh and the surrounding area with their local wildlife and the amazing wellbeing benefits the NNR offers. With guided walks, and drop-in events, supported by a range of wildlife and wellbeing organisations, people of all ages are encouraged to find out about the nature on their doorstep and to get out and enjoy time outdoors.
