Heath Week 2026: Nightjar Walk

Nightjar Walk
We are hoping to hear and see nightjars flying out over the common from their daytime roosting place and hunting for insects nearby. There may also be some late song before dusk from other resident birds. A small torch can be brought with you to aid the journey back but this is not essential. Subdued clothing preferred.
This event is free and booking is not required. Please arrive in good time so we can start promptly at 20:20.
