Heath Week 2026: Crafternoon

Crafternoon
Come and get crafty with Pebblebed Heath Conservation Trust during our crafternoon and make something to take home! Why not make a day of it? Join us for crafts and bring a picnic to enjoy with friends and family on the Model Airfield and take in the views of the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve!
Get involved with:
– Wildlife embroidery with South Devon Stitchers
– Willow weaving with Creative Journeys in Nature
– Cardboard Bee sculptures and Creative Cabinet with the Thelma Hulbert Gallery
– Nature inspired clay trinkets and sculptures with local artist Teresa Pardoe
– Two family performances of ‘Flying with Strings’ by Sarah Vigars and Louis Bingham, followed by a craft workshop for families.

Heath Week celebrates our heathland heritage with a week of events reflecting the ecology, history and recreational importance of the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve.
