SUMMARY:OVA: Silver-Studded Blue Butterflies
DESCRIPTION:Join the Otter Valley Association (OVA) to try and spot silver- studded blue (SSB) butterflies. \nThe walk will be led by Lesley Kerry who recently retired from monitoring the silver-studded blue across the Pebblebed Heaths and assisted by Geoff Porter who is the Natural Environment representative for the OVA. \nAs SSB’s are fairly frail flyer and don’t like windy days\, this event is weather dependant but aims to be repeated following the event on 24th June 2024. \nTo book: please email: walks@ova.org.uk indicating which date you prefer. Bookings open Monday 27th May for both dates and parking information will be given when a booking is confirmed. \nThe size of the group will be limited and will maintain a ‘reserve’ list.
