What’s your earliest memory of visiting the Pebblebed Heaths? Perhaps you have been exploring the heaths for decades or you might have only just discovered them. Did your parents bring you here and now you bring your own children? Maybe you worked on the heaths or trained here as a Royal Marine? Scroll back or dig out that album. Share it and a photo on social media using #TheHeathsAndMe or send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This summer we want to find out what the heaths means to the people that spend time there. For the next 6 weeks we will be asking you to share different kinds of photos to build up the story of the heaths. A selection of images will be chosen for an exhibition next year to celebrate the heaths.
How to take part
This isn’t a typical photography competition and we are not looking for the ‘perfect shot’, rather the sense of place or the moment or feeing it captures.
