Sightings of the rare Dartford Warbler, previously confined to lowland heathlands such as the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths, have been recorded at higher altitudes and as far afield as the Midlands, according to the latest findings in the latest British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) Bird Atlas.
