Friends' Annual Forum, Wednesday 26th November 2014

The evening will begin with a review of the activities of the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust during 2014. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the team, and give feedback on issues relating to the Commons. Local entomologist John Walters will also be giving an illustrated talk on some of the rarest and most enigmatic insects to be found on the Pebblebed Heaths, including potter wasps and Kugelann’s beetle. River Otter Himalayan Balsam Project

On the 24th April the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust and Clinton Devon Estates hosted a meeting of local community groups and environmental organisations to discuss a project to eradicate Himalayan balsam from the River Otter.
